Reeson Education is seeking an enthusiastic and confident Year 1 Class Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Beckenham, starting in November 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher with previous Year 1 experience who can create a positive, structured classroom environment and support pupils through this important stage of their learning.

The Role

• Teach a Year 1 class on a full-time basis.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.

• Establish clear classroom routines and maintain high standards of behaviour.

• Support pupils'' academic, social and emotional development.

• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a supportive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Previous experience teaching Year 1 in a primary school.

• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain a calm, purposeful classroom.

• Confident in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons.

• A positive, adaptable and committed approach to teaching and learning.
