SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary/ Rate: -95 per day

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work with pupils across KS4 and KS5 in a Special Educational Needs School in Warrington. This role is for 5 days per week, is to start in September working full time.

The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience and will be confident undertaking work within the curriculum and experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Previous KS4 curriculum experience
• Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs in SEMH
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
