The role would suit graduates considering a future career in teaching, experienced Cover Supervisors, or individuals with transferable experience working with young people.

Your new role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged in learning and complete the work set by their teacher.You will play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting the school''s high standards of behaviour and achievement.

What you''ll need to succeed

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensure students remain on task and engaged in their learning
• Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons
• Support the smooth running of the school day
• Build positive relationships with students and staff
