This school is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where every child is empowered to thrive. As a SEN TA, you will play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Job Description:andnbsp;
- Providing one-to-one or small group supportandnbsp;for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
- Assisting the class teacherandnbsp;in delivering tailored learning activities and adapting resources to meet individual needs.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environmentandnbsp;that promotes confidence, independence, and emotional well-being.
- Monitoring and recording pupil progress, offering feedback to teachers and contributing to support plans.
- Collaborating with staff, parents, and external professionalsandnbsp;to ensure consistent and effective support.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hasandnbsp;experience working with children with SEN, ideally within a school setting (Desirable but not essential).
- Isandnbsp;patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine desire to make a difference.
- Demonstratesandnbsp;strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Holds aandnbsp;current DBS certificateandnbsp;or is willing to obtain one.
- Is committed toandnbsp;inclusive educationandnbsp;and supporting the holistic development of every child.
