The Power BI Visual Designer is responsible for designing and developing visually compelling, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI. This role bridges the gap between data engineering and user experience, ensuring that business users can easily interpret and act on insights.Responsibilities

Design intuitive and interactive dashboards using Power BI Desktop and ServiceDraft Wireframe docs for proposed reporting Dashboards and reportsApply UI/UX best practices to layout, navigation, and visual designEnsure consistency with branding guidelines and accessibility standardsConduct usability testing and iterate based on feedbackDocument dashboard functionality and provide user training/supportImplement Design consistency documentation for Templates, bookmarks, drill throughs, tooltips, and slicers for enhanced interactivityRequired Skills

Proven experience with Power BI (Desktop, Service, APPS)Strong understanding of data visualisation principles and UX designFamiliarity with design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) is a plusKnowledge of accessibility standards and responsive designExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAttention to detail and a user-first mindsetExperience with creating bespoke Power BI theme files and custom visualsBackground in design, HCI, or front-end development
