Warden Tyne Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Electrical Project Manager for a major hyperscale data centre development in the North East. This role will focus on the day-to-day delivery of electrical installation works, managing subcontractor performance, maintaining programme progress and coordinating complex electrical services within a demanding, mission-critical environment. Roles and Responsibilities Electrical Package Delivery: Manage electrical installation activities from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification and in line with agreed milestones. Site Coordination: Coordinate subcontractors, supervisors, engineers and installation teams to maintain progress and resolve day-to-day site issues. Programme Management: Monitor planned versus actual progress, identify potential delays and implement recovery measures to protect key dates. Daily and Weekly Planning: Drive productivity through detailed work planning, short-term lookaheads, installation sequencing and effective allocation of labour and resources. Technical Coordination: Work with design teams and subcontractors to resolve technical queries, drawing discrepancies and installation issues before they impact progress. Critical Power Installations: Oversee works associated with MV/HV distribution, standby generation, ePODs, busbar and other critical electrical infrastructure.
