Our client is looking for an experienced Gas Repairs Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UKs leading renewable energy suppliers. Job description: Carry out reactive maintenance and emergency repairs. Diagnose and repair faults on domestic gas appliances including boilers, fires, and cookers. Install or repair heating system pipe work. Advising customers on gas safety and energy efficiency. Undertake works in accordance with current Gas Safety Regulations and manufacturers guidelines. Prepare and maintain records of completed work using a company tablet. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times. Person specification: Must have ACS Gas Qualifications. Full UK driving license. Must have the right to work in the UK with supporting documents. Must have a very high standard of work and be able to think for themselves. Must have a good attitude and be comfortable dealing with customers. Electrical knowledge essential, including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan and combination systems and boilers. Be flexible, responsive and proactive towards workloads.
