HGV Class 1 ADR Hooklift Driver

Location: Wolverhampton, WV1
Job Type: Full-Time, temp to perm
Pay: -18.60 per hour
Guaranteed Minimum: 50 hours per week
Start Time: 04:30 until finish
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Hooklift Driver to join our team in Wolverhampton.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a minimum of 50 hours per week paid at a rate of -18.60 per hour, with an early start time of 04:30 until finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Class 1 Hooklift vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Completing deliveries and collections in a safe and professional manner.
• Maintaining accurate digital tachograph records.
• Ensuring compliance with drivers'' hours and transport legislation.
• Communicating effectively with the depot and transport team.
• Maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid ADR licence.
• Current Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year of professional HGV driving experience.
• Be aged 25+ for insurance purposes.
• Good knowledge of Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas.
• Previous Hooklift experience is preferred.
• A strong commitment to safe and professional driving.
