Workshop Controller required for a Successful Automotive independent garage in the Leamington Spa area.
 
Our client is seeking a Workshop Controller to join their busy service department, and it is essential that you have a previous working experience within a busy Automotive Workshop.

- £42,000 basic salary (£45,000 OTE).
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week – overtime available.
- Overtime paid at time and a half.

Duties:

- Overseeing daily workshop operations and allocating work to technicians.
- Monitoring job progress and ensuring completion within set timescales.
- Liaising with the service department to manage workloads and priorities.
- Conducting quality checks and supporting technicians with technical issues.
- Ensuring accurate job cards, estimates, and invoicing through the workshop management system.
- Using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge to assist where needed.
- Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

- Currently working as a Workshop Controller or in a similar supervisory role within a workshop environment.
- Technically qualified (e.g. Level 3 or equivalent) with hands-on workshop experience.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads effectively.
- Confident using computer systems and workshop management software – PC literacy is essential.
- A team player who takes pride in delivering a high standard of customer service.

Hours of work for this Workshop Controller role are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (overtime available)

The Salary being offered up to £42,000 with OTE £45,000.
