Key Responsibilities:

• Kitchen Operations: Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen management, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.

• Quality Control: Ensure every dish meets our high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.

• Leadership & Training: Supervise, mentor, and train junior kitchen staff (Commis and Chef de Parties).

• Inventory Management: Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory to minimize waste and manage costs effectively.

• Health & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment, strictly adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.

• Menu Development: Collaborate on creating and refining new menu items and specials.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or a highly skilled Chef de Partie ready for the next step.

• A true passion for cooking and a deep knowledge of various culinary techniques.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• A flexible and professional attitude, with a commitment to teamwork.

• Five years of verifiable professional references are required.

• A successful enhanced DBS check is a condition of employment.
