Known for its strong academic standards and supportive leadership, the school is looking for an inspiring English teacher who can contribute to the continued success of the department and help students reach their full potential.

This opportunity is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to grow within a progressive and welcoming school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Teach English across Key Stages 3 to 5 with engaging and high-quality lessons

• 
  

  Support student achievement at both GCSE and A-Level

• 
  

  Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development

• 
  

  Use assessment data to monitor progress and inform teaching

• 
  

  Encourage a lasting passion for literature and language inside and outside the classroom

Requirements:

• 
  

  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification

• 
  

  A current DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

• 
  

  References covering the last two years of employment

• 
  

  Confidence in teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus)
