Job: Deputy Manager - Childrens ResidentialLocation: NottinghamSalary: 30kPosition: 40 hours per week, rota basedWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to join our clients Children''s Residential team to support young people with emotional behavioural difficulties. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of the home, supporting the Registered Manager in ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with regulations.Key responsibilities:Assist the Registered Manager in daily operationsLead, supervise, and develop a team of Residential Care WorkersEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including safeguarding policies and Ofsted standardsSupport young people in their personal development, emotional well-being and independenceManage and monitor care plans to ensure effective support tailored to individual needsShift leading, including participating in an on-call rota when requiredLiaise with external agencies to include Social Workers, families promoting the best interests of children and young peopleHandle safeguarding concerns and incidents with professionalism and diligenceSupporting the Manager to ensure the home operates within budgetary and financial guidelinesProvide regular supervision and annual appraisals to senior care workers Provide on call cover and rota cover when neededEnsure processes are in place and adhered to in line with the requirements of Ofsted Quality Standards and regulations.Sk
