A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced fitter to join a leading manufacturing company who specialise in providing electrical solutions to various industriesJob Description:Your core duties will be the fitting of various types of distribution and power unitsYou will prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.You will assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassembliesYou will be expected to maintain the highest level of workmanship standards and product quality ensuring products are produced and delivered OTIF to the customers'' requirementsYou will check and complete all paperwork associated with the works orderPerformance of area housekeeping activities, including the prompt reporting of problems, shortages or equipment breakdownUsing general workshop machinery and hand tools related to the fitting roleQuality inspection of colleague''s outputBeneficial Skills / Qualifications:Hands on experience of working within a mechanical / electrical environmentAbility to understand schematics / drawingsIdeally Apprentice trained or time servedGood communication skillsGood HandS awarenessAttention to detailAdditional Details:Negotiable Salary9-day fortnight - every other Friday off25days holiday+ Bank HolidaysPensionBonus2 x Death in serviceHealthcare Cash planSick pay schemeMembership discountsParking / EV Parking
