PMO Analyst

OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PMO Analyst to join LGC and provide governance to various key projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) by providing analytical insights, managing project portfolios, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
Responsibilities
Project Portfolio Management: Coordinate and manage the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and strategic objectives.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed data analysis to provide insights and recommendations for project improvements. Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to improve project efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and maintain PMO standards, methodologies, and guidelines.
Collaborator Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, team members, and collaborators to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Risk Management: Monitor project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Prioritisation: Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure efficient use of resources across projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) would be advantageous.
A minimum of 5 years of experience within project management or PMO positions, showcasing a demonstrated ability to effectively handle complex projects and portfolios.
Having a background in the Life Sciences industry is advantageous.

Strong skills in project management software and tools (such as MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
