Day-to-day, you will:Investigate statutory nuisance complaints from commercial properties, including issues of noise, light, odour, and dust.Consult on planning applications, providing expert advice on noise, vibration, artificial lighting, and odour.Process Section 61 (prior consent) applications under the Control of Pollution Act 1974 for construction noise.Take enforcement action where necessary, from serving notices to preparing prosecution reports.Consult on licensing applications to prevent public nuisance and represent the service at Licensing Sub-Committee hearings.Prepare robust litigation cases and attend court to provide ev
