Job Title: Senior Engineer - Platform Monitoring and Controls Location: Scotstoun. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: Up to £50,000 dependent on skills and experience What you''ll be doing: • Support to engineers at supplier sites and regular, direct engagement with Type 26 global combat ship counterparts to obtain and share best practice • Support to PMandC engineers in Australia in resolving queries with UK counterparts and the supplier, and representation of PMandC team in technical workshops with both BAE and Supplier representatives • Leading UK functional integration activities and engaging with system owners to enable delivery of PMS software • Working with stakeholders across the platform to understand the technical impact of incoming changes and ensuring alignment in data packs shared with the supplier • Supporting the development and maturation of data pack supporting technical documentation including signal schedules, functional specifications, interface control documents and control philosophies Your skills and experiences: Essential: • Knowledge of distributed control systems • Working experience in complex programs and multi-disciplinary teams • Experience in more than one phase of Life Cycle Management, with sufficient experience of the total LCM to enable a good understanding of adjacent phases and through life engineering issue
