Tax Accountant GB/IE

What you’ll do
As the tax accountant, you will be responsible for supporting VAT returns and tasks, as well as a wide range of other tax requirements, ensuring regulatory submissions are completed by deadlines. This role reports to the Senior Accountant of Financial Reporting and Tax and collaborates closely with other members of the Accounts Team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Key responsibilities
Analyze and prepare VAT returns for multiple registrations.Maintain balance sheet reconciliations.Support monthly period-end close and financial reporting.Support compliance with internal control policies and procedures related to VAT.Support the Senior Accountant on other tax areas, such as PSA, Corporation Tax analysis, duty reconciliations, and ad-hoc tasks.Identify opportunities to improve tax compliance and reporting processes across the business and support implementation.Who you’ll work with
You will collaborate with multiple teams to support the expansion of the business, working closely with Marketing, Logistics, and Security teams to provide key insights and recommendations.Who you are
