Learning Support Assistant (Secondary - KS3/KS4)Start Date: Immediate (February 2026)We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our secondary team, supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to make a meaningful difference to pupils with a range of SEND needs, including SEMH, trauma, and adversity. Key Responsibilities Work under the direction of the SENCo, Senior Leadership Team, and teaching staff to deliver learning activities and interventions Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, enabling access to learning and promoting independence Build safe, trusting relationships and act as a positive role model Support pupils'' holistic development, including emotional, social, and life skills Deliver bespoke intervention programmes and maintain accurate records of pupil progress Essential: Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths Strong organisational skills, including record keeping and running interventions Desirable: Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs Experience supporting pupils who have experienced trauma or adversit
