Based in Edinburgh with a Global Technology team, this role supports a business-wide digital transformation. Computershare continually develops staff through training and development opportunities and supports a flexible working environment.What makes this role exciting

This role stands out because you will be part of a global department currently supporting a business-wide digital transformation programme, with opportunities to grow and develop within the organisation.Key Responsibilities

Design and embed Data Platform Patterns including Data Governance, Analytics, Engineering, Master Data Management and Visualization in a Cloud and SaaS ecosystem, ideally using Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI.Implement robust data governance controls, maintaining data integrity and compliance in data platforms.Collaborate with analytics partners and delivery teams to build understanding, compliance and capability in a federated development environment.Drive optimization and a culture of hypothesis-based experimentation, focusing on customer experience, revenue growth, and cost savings. Encourage and enable other teams to adopt an experimentation mindset.Work with teams delivering software using Agile methodologies, ensuring agility and responsiveness in data and analytics endeavours.Your Profile

What will you bring to the role?

A real passion for Data Architecture and Technology with the ability to provide excellent architectural direction and to manage strong stakeholder relationships at all levels.Key Skills

Extensive experience in data architecture and analytics platform solutions.Experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop and Spark.Expertise across data lifecycle, technologies, data patterns, insights, analytics and machine learning, master data management, integration, data warehousing, data quality, metadata, and data compliance.Strong understanding of data governance and compliance requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.Experience with Microsoft Fabric is desirable.Rewards and Benefits
