Responsibilities
The primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain the seasonal facilities at Coate Water Country Park, which include the Pitch & Putt kiosk and course, crazy golf course, and The Splash Park.

• Pitch & Putt Kiosk: Sell tickets, operate card payment machines, issue equipment, sell and restock cold drinks/ice creams, and engage with the public for general information.
• Course Maintenance: Set up and close down the pitch & putt and crazy golf courses, operate sprinkler systems, maintain greens and fairways, maintain the crazy golf course and surfaces, mow (ride on and push), and manage vegetation (shrub beds and weeding).
• Splash Park: Conduct water quality checks, clean and maintain the system, splash pad, and surrounding area, empty bins and pick litter, perform maximum capacity checks, enforce splash park rules, engage with the public, and conduct toilet checks/cleaning.
• Secondary Duties: Assist with wider tasks within the country parks, such as cleaning toilets and BBQs, emptying bins, litter picking, fishing, conducting statutory safety checks (play park, dams, etc.), managing vegetation (mowing and strimming), and engaging with the public, contractors, and external events, only after core duties are covered.

Person Specification

• Good timekeeping and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with adequate numeracy skills to handle cash/card machines confidently.
• Excellent communication skills for daily interactions with the general public and handling inquiries.
• Availability to work weekends and bank holidays, with compensation of a day in lieu for bank holidays.
• Possession of a full UK driving license and DBS certificate is desirable but not essential.
