Plumber - Glasgow - G21 - X1 Job AvailableA Plumber is required for a static healthcare maintenance role in Glasgow (G21), supporting critical building services within a busy NHS environment.Pay Rate: 18.12 - 19.89 per hour (depending on experience)On-Call Requirement: 1 week in 6 on-call rota providing 24/7 cover (Rowanbank Clinic and Stobhill Hospital). Additional payment provided for on-call duties.Duties:Participate in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenanceRespond to emergency tasks within SLA times to avoid service failuresProduce Risk Assessments and Method Statements for Permit-to-WorkUndertake overtime for installations, improvements and OOH emergency repairsCarry out mechanical maintenance and small works including:AHU maintenanceCalorifiers and heat stationsWater systems and Legionella controlMedical gas systemsPressure systemsLiaise with Facilities Team Leaders regarding plant failures and required materialsComplete works reports, task sheets and certification (electronic and hard copy)Work in full compliance with safety procedures (Permits, RA/MS, Fire Safety, Infection Control, Hazardous Substances)Maintain tools, workshops and storage areasTravel to other sites when requiredMaintain professional standards when working within wards and clinicsRequirements:Recognised plumbing apprenticeship (essential)Minimum 2 years'' experience in mechanical/building services maintenanceHospital experience desirable but not essentialCompetent working on
