This role involves assisting with design work, asset management, and technical reporting while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.Key Responsibilities: Develop highway maintenance schemes, from defect identification to treatment selection and construction documentation.Assist in designing highway improvement, traffic engineering, and active travel schemes.Help produce forward programmes of highway maintenance works.Support the management and execution of highway condition inspections and surveys.Update and utilise asset management systems.Prepare technical reports and outputs to achieve project objectives.Undertake site visits, surveys, and investigations.Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.Provide technical training and supervision for technicians.Collaborate with clients to understand and deliver project objectives.
