Customer Service Administrative Assistant (Housing)

Pay: -18.65 PAYE / -24.65 Umbrella per hour
Location: Wembley, HA9 0FJ
Contract: Temporary until December 2026

About the Role

We are looking for a Customer Service Administrative Assistant to join a busy Housing team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, complaints and service requests via phone, email, webchat and social media.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to housing-related enquiries and complaints.
• Deliver excellent customer service across multiple channels.
• Resolve customer issues efficiently and accurately.
• Update customer records and maintain databases.
• Process service requests, payments and transactions.
• Support customers with online and self-service options.
• Work closely with colleagues and external partners.
• Handle sensitive and challenging situations professionally.
• Maintain accurate records and follow policies and procedures.

What We''re Looking For

• Previous customer service and administration experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams.
• Ability to manage a high volume of enquiries.
• Organised, accurate and customer-focused approach.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
