School CaretakerStockport, SK4 16-18 per hour ASAP start Long-termSmile Education are recruiting for an experienced School Caretaker to work within a school in Stockport, SK4.This role is only suitable for candidates with previous caretaker/site experience within a school or similar setting who already hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.Applicants without both of these requirements will not be considered.The RoleAs a School Caretaker, you will support the safe, secure and effective day-to-day running of the school site.You will complete general maintenance, site checks, security duties and basic repairs while ensuring the school remains clean, safe and ready for staff and pupils.Key ResponsibilitiesOpen and secure the school site where required.Complete daily site, security and health and safety checks.Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance.Monitor the condition of the building, grounds and facilities.Support contractors and maintenance visits where required.Respond to site issues and report larger repairs appropriately.Assist with moving equipment, furniture and deliveries.Maintain safe access routes and external areas.Follow school safeguarding, security and health and safety procedures.RequirementsPrevious experience working as a Caretaker, Site Supervisor, Site Assistant or similar is essential.Experience must be within a school or similar facilities/site environment.You must currently hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update ..... full job details .....
