Software Developer / Engineer (C# .Net SQL)

– Hedge Fund, London onsite to £180k+Join a financial technology team at a hedge fund with over $17 billion under management. You will collaborate with technologists and finance professionals to develop algorithmic trading systems using a modern tech stack, with opportunities for technical ownership from day one.Location / Workstyle: London (Soho) offices. This role is full-time and office-based (Monday to Friday).Responsibilities

Partner with Quant teams to help architect valuation, risk, and pricing systemsDevelop massively scalable, high-performance streaming compute operationsContribute to the design and implementation of trading systems and related infrastructureOwn and drive features and improvements from concept to deliveryQualifications

You have an outstanding record of academic achievement – minimum 2.1 in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university (e.g., Russell Group or top 100 global university), backed by A grades at A-levelAdvanced C# .NET programming skills including .NET Core (background in Java, Python, or C++ acceptable if you are willing to work with C#)Strong knowledge of SQL databasesThorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, data structures, design patterns, and algorithmsEntrepreneurial mindset with business acumen; ability to take ownership and lead projectsCollaborative, problem-solving, and idea-sharing mindsetWhat’s In It For You
