We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Scheme Manager to provide 6 weeks'' sick leave cover within a sheltered/retirement living scheme in Fallowfield.Working alongside an experienced housing team, you will support other Scheme Managers with their caseloads, helping to ensure residents continue to receive a high standard of service during a busy period.Duties will include carrying out resident welfare checks, managing low-level tenancy and housing management issues, responding to enquiries, reporting and following up repairs, completing scheme inspections, maintaining accurate records and supporting residents to live independently within the scheme.What you''ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working as a Scheme Manager, Sheltered Housing Officer, Housing Officer or within a supported housing environment.You will be confident working with older and potentially vulnerable residents, have strong communication skills and be able to deal with a range of housing management issues sensitively and professionally.You will be highly organised, able to manage your own workload and comfortable using housing management systems and Microsoft Office.An enhanced DBS with Adults list is required for this position.You will need a full UK driving licence, own vehicle and business insurance.What you''ll get in returnImmediate start available6-week temporary assignmentFull-time hours, Monday to FridayWeekly pay and an hourly rateWhat you need ..... full job details .....
