Role: Civil Engineering Technician Location: Bradford Salary: 31,000 - 41,000 Ref: MB693 Due to a healthy forward workload, our client is currently looking to appoint a Civil Engineering Technician to join their Bradford office team. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects spanning the retail, logistics, rail, residential, commercial, and renewables sectors. Role and Responsibilities: Assisting a team of engineers and technicians with the production of engineering drawings in AutoCAD and Civils 3D Production of Autocad Models of schemes. Preparation and checking of simple engineering calculations Initial checking of own work and junior staff members Contributing to and providing solutions to design problems Meeting agreed deadlines Liaison with statutory bodies such as Water Companies, Environmental Agency and County Roads Departments etc. Ensure that quality and consistency of technical output by the team (drawings, reports etc.) is maintained. Liaise in a professional manner colleagues, clients, contractors and other designers and to offer advice and guidance on matters relating to their work.
