Cloud Security Engineer

Up to -75,000 | Warwick (1-2 days per month)

Help secure large-scale cloud platforms. A major UK infrastructure organisation is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to help protect and enhance its cloud estate.

You''ll work across Azure and Google Cloud environments, helping to ensure cloud services remain secure, resilient and compliant while supporting the wider business on security best practice.

This role would suit someone who enjoys combining technical security expertise with practical risk reduction across modern cloud platforms.

What you''ll be doing

• Securing Azure and Google Cloud environments
• Enhancing cloud security controls and governance
• Supporting cloud security architecture and best practices
• Managing identity and access security controls
• Designing and maintaining Conditional Access policies
• Supporting Microsoft Defender technologies
• Identifying vulnerabilities and driving remediation activities
• Working closely with infrastructure and cyber security teams

What we''re looking for

• Experience in Cloud Security, Cyber Security Engineering or similar roles
• Strong Azure security experience
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Knowledge of Conditional Access and identity security controls
• Experience with Microsoft Defender
• Understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practice
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments
