This opportunity sits within a specialist Private Client team dedicated to safeguarding the welfare and rights of those affected by conditions such as dementia, learning disabilities, brain injuries and mental health issues.

What You''ll Be DoingYour day-to-day will include:Meeting clients in care settings or the communityLiaising with families, care providers, and other professionalsOverseeing clients'' financial affairs (including benefits and funding assessments)Advising on care plans, researching appropriate services and solutionsDrafting and managing Court of Protection applications (e.g. deputyship, statutory wills, trustee changes, gifts)Preparing Wills and LPAsAnnual reporting on deputyship cases
You''ll also contribute to:Business development, content creation and event planningSupporting junior team members
Candidate Requirements:3-6 years PQE with strong experience in Court of Protection and deputyship mattersA clear understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Care Act 2014 and professional deputy standardsConfidence in handling sensitive, often complex situations with empathy and professionalismStrong communication skills tailored to varied audiences
