Warehouse Operative (Night Shift)

Location: Brimsdown, Enfield
Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday
Hours: 6:00pm to 4am & 8pm to 6:00am
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

 

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established fish production company for a Warehouse Operative to join their busy night shift team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with guaranteed hours in a fast-paced and supportive working environment.

The RoleAs a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring products are prepared and loaded accurately for delivery. Working as part of a dedicated warehouse team, you will be responsible for handling fish products, preparing allocations and supporting the loading operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Moving and handling boxes of fish weighing between 1kg and 24kg
  
  
• Using hand pallets and pump trucks to transport stock safely around the warehouse
  
  
• Marking up and preparing customer allocations
  
  
• Assisting with the loading of lorries ready for distribution and delivery
  
  
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and hygiene
  
  
• Working efficiently to meet production and delivery deadlines
  
  
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with company procedures
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
  
  
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting products up to 24kg
  
  
• Ability to work in a chilled warehouse environment
  
  
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  
  
• Good attention to detail
  
  
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
  
  
• Flexible approach and willingness to support different warehouse duties as required
