Purchase Ledger Clerk

Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for your next opportunity? Astute Recruitment are working with a well-established client based in Castle Donington seeking a confident and reliable individual to join their finance team on a temporary ongoing basis. Key Responsibilities: Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently Matching, batching and coding invoices Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies Preparing and processing payment runs Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries Supporting the finance team with general administrative duties as required Requirements: Proven experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Excel Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits and Hours: 37.5 hour working week Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 5:00pm (Potential for flexible start and finishes) Salary: Up to 28,000 per annum (pro rata), dependent on experience
