Due to growth within the site they are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to coordinate everything related to food safety, quality and hygiene standards. Role and responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Manager: Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)Lead a team of Quality Assurance and Hygiene TechniciansEnsure company HACCP plans are up-to-dateCoordinate all elements of food safety, quality, hygiene and legality processesMake sure food safety and quality checks are completed from schedulesRaw materials and finished product testing programme is maintainedInternal audits, monitor KPi''s and team complianceMake sure pest control and hygiene schedules are followedInvestigate non-conformances and complaints recieved and implement corrective actions Knowledge, skills and experience needed to be a Quality Assurance Manager: At least 5 years experience in a similar quality leader or manager positionInternal audit experienceIdeally degree qualified in science / food safety related subjectsMust have worked in food manufacturing previouslyKnowledge of pest control, HACCP to BRCGS standardsGood people management, organisational and prioritisation skillsExperienced in reporting, dealing with data and use of QMSProactive and ..... full job details .....
