We are seeking a Mechanical Building Maintenance Engineer to join our on-site engineering team at a prestigious multi-tenanted office building. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical building services, ensuring all plant and equipment is maintained to a high standard while delivering excellent service to tenants and stakeholders. Working as part of a dedicated facilities team, the role offers a varied workload across HVAC, water systems, pumps, plumbing and general building services equipment. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and building services equipment. Diagnose and repair faults on HVAC plant and associated systems Maintain and service: AHUs, FCUs, Pumps, Motors, Pressurisation units, Expansion vessels, Domestic water systems, BMS-controlled plant Undertake plumbing repairs and minor mechanical installations. Respond to reactive maintenance requests within agreed service levels. Escort and manage specialist subcontractors on site. Conduct routine plant room inspections and statutory compliance checks. Complete maintenance records and reports using CAFM systems. Support basic electrical fault-finding and general building maintenance activities where required.
