CornerStone is a leading independent Digital Building Consultancy, and we are excited to be seeking a new Security Consultant with 5 years of experience either in a technical or security risk environment to join our established award-winning Security Consulting Team.We are seeking an individual who is looking to share their extensive skills and knowledge to support the team, our clients and the company. This individual should enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative consultancy environment, where the whole team has passion for the work we do and pride in the things we achieve. You can expect our investment in you to include personalised development opportunities combined with a competitive salary and benefits.The primary tasks of the role include, but are not limited to:Be the owner of or support the delivery of security consultancy services in line with client requirements, regulations, standards, etc. through the delivery of a varied range work packages in line with RIBA stages or direct client delivery needsUnderstand and manage client expectations and requirements across a broad security and risk environment, enabling the client to have a single point of contact throughout all project stagesChair client facing meetings and workshops focused on the delivery of a range of services ensuring accurate meeting notes and actions are producedUnderstanding, demonstrating, and communicating technical, strategic and design information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clearly documented reports, submissions, or formal presentationsPrepare and deliver high quality reports across a range of security areas including project budgets, technology studies and risk and threat analysisAbility to audit and conduct site surveys or assessments for standards compliance and design related updatesHave a good understanding of the security technology design, installation not limited to video surveillance, access control, perimeter and intruder detection and hostile vehicle mitigation systemsCompletion of defined work packages for projects using a range of analyses and design tools and follow defined consultancy processes to ensure compliance with internal requirementsBe responsible for reporting regular project updates to the project owner/lead consultant (where you are not the project owner yourself) and attending weekly team calls and use of project management toolsAssist CornerStone’s sales and marketing department to inform current and new clients of CornerStone’s range of products and servicesThe Security Consultant shall also be capable of:Delivering to a range of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maintain high quality outputs across a range of areas including resource management, delivery, financial, and other requirementsWorking closely with all internal teams focusing on efficient project delivery and ensuring effective communication is maintained during the delivery projectsWorking under pressure and multi-tasking to achieve project and client timelines, satisfying client expectations and have good time and workload management skillsMaintaining a high level of understanding of risk, electronic security systems, physical security measures and other technologiesMaintain an expected level of Continued Professional Development (CPD) through monitoring security risk developments, systems and standards as well as attending regular CPDUnderstand and utilise risk management to support the development of mitigationsGlobal travel as required and appropriateThe above description details the role’s core activities and is not inclusive of all duties required as a project management team member.
