The company I m recruiting for is a household name- they re a global enterprise with a strong local presence in Nottingham. I am looking for a number of Senior Software Engineers to join them in a few small teams; you ll be fully hands-on and you ll be working with a core tech stack of Java, Spring Boot, AWS, microservices and using techniques such as TDD and BDD. You ll go into one of the Data Engineering teams where they re doing some really cool stuff; they re all helping to build solutions to modernise and streamline data sharing within the company. There are around 5 people in each team and you ll all have plenty of work to be getting on with, across a range of areas, such as APIs, microservices, new features, bug fixing, etc. You re the kind of person who loves to lead from the front; making sure that everything you produce follows best practice, is well-tested (by you, they don t have QAs), and well-documented.
