About the Role We are seeking a resilient and empathetic SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students who require additional help managing their emotions and behaviour in school, starting after April 2026.This role involves working closely with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them to engage with learning, develop coping strategies, and build positive relationships within the school environment. Key Responsibilities Provide targeted support for students with SEMH needs Build positive, trusting relationships to support emotional regulation Assist students in accessing the curriculum and staying engaged in lessons Implement behaviour support strategies and individual plans Support de-escalation and manage challenging behaviour effectively Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral teams Monitor and record student progress and behaviour Follow safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies at all times Ideal Candid
