We are currently recruiting for SEN Learning Support staff to assist pupils in primary and secondary schools across Chesham and surrounding areas. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs throughout their educational journey.
About the Role:
- Supporting pupils with special educational needs in both their learning and emotional wellbeing
- Encouraging focus, engagement, and confidence throughout the school day
- Assisting teaching staff with classroom activities, routines, and lesson delivery
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Adapting to work flexibly across various schools and age groups as needed
The ideal candidate will:
- Proven experience supporting children or young people in educational, care, or youth work settings
- Calm, patient, and empathetic demeanour, with a supportive approach to behaviour and learning
- Flexible and confident, able to adapt quickly to a variety of school environments and classroom needs
- Genuine passion for helping young people thrive, both academically and personally
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to obtain one prior to starting the role
