We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Children''s Residential Support Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for providing care and support to children and young people who are residing in a residential facility. You will play a crucial role in creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop to their full potential. The responsibilities include: Provide round-the-clock care and support to children and young people in a residential setting. Establish positive relationships with children, building trust and rapport to create a supportive environment. Assist in the implementation of individual care plans, tailored to the needs and requirements of each child. Support children in their daily routines, Actively engage children in educational and recreational activities, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Monitor and record the progress and wellbeing of each child, reporting any concerns to the appropriate authorities. Collaborate with other staff members and professionals, including social workers and healthcare professionals, to ensure the holistic care of each child. Maintain a safe and clean environment within the residential facility, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Provide emotional support and guidance to children, helping them to develop coping strategies and resilience.
