Our client Medway council is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their Children and Adults Safeguarding team.AccountabilitiesBe a Designated Senior Officer for safeguarding concerns and S.42 Enquiries, ensuring responses to safeguarding are robust, in line with policy and guidance and legislation to ensure the safety and wellbeing of individuals subject to safeguarding concerns.Undertake and support the undertaking of complex mental capacity assessments, S.42 enquiries and other assessments as required.Supervise and line manage a range of both qualified and unqualified staff and provide quality formal and informal supervision as required.Contribute to the delivery of a highly effective Adult Social Care Safeguarding Team in an efficient manner.
