HGV Workshop Technician Tipton Full time Permanent Up to £23ph, DOEWhat s in it for you? 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)10-hour shifts Monday FridayDay and night shiftsWeekend availabilityPrivate medical cover following 3 years of employmentDiscretionary performance related bonuses and incentivesPension contributionsInternal and external training and development opportunitiesOn-site parkingReferral programme The roles and responsibilities of the HGV Workshop Technician: A wide variety of servicing and repair workContribute towards effective preventative maintenance Prepare and submit vehicles to a standard appropriate for the issuing of an annual test certificateLiaise with parts suppliers to ensure correct parts are issued to complete jobs efficiently and within the requirement timescaleAccurately complete relevant paperwork including job cards and service sheets using online systems to the required standardEnsure ISO and Health and Safety regulations are always adhered to What you need to succeed as an HGV Workshop Technician: City and Guilds Level 1, 2 and 3 / NVQ Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalentMinimum 5 years HGV workshop experienceThe ability to work alone and use initiative to find faultsA good understanding of HGVs including diagnostic fault findingHGV Class 2 driver s license (desirable)Ability to liaise directly with suppliers, drivers and controlGeneral technical ability What happens after you apply for this role?Applications will be reviewed with
