Job Summary: We are a small family run business, currently seeking skilled Truck Drivers to join our team. We are looking for someone with general haulage/tanker experience. Moffett/crane license would be a bonus. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations within the UK.Nights out will be up to 4 nights a week depending on work load. Occasional weekend work as and when required, these are paid additional to basic pay.Meal allowance and phone allowance paid in addition to basic wages.Responsibilities:- Safely operate the vehicle and trailer to transport goods and materials- Load and unload equipment following safety procedures- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all timesRequirements:- Valid commercial driving licence (Category C)- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety- Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus and alertness- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation- Physically fit to load and unload cargo as requiredJoin our team as a Truck Driver and enjoy competitive pay, and the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your skills are valued.
