What You Will Be Doing

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter you will be responsible for:

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining HGVs, LGVs and trailers to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment as an experienced HGV Mechanic
• Completing safety inspections to DVSA standards accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining accurate job cards and documentation throughout
• Upholding high workshop standards at all times

What You Will Need

To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Technician you will need:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Technician within a commercial vehicle environment
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent
• Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence and IRTEC accreditation (desirable)
