Engineering Stores Coordinator Location: DoncasterSalary: CompetitiveRole PurposeTo keep the engineering stores organised, accurate and ready to support a busy poultry manufacturing site. The Engineering Stores Coordinator ensures that engineers can obtain the right parts and consumables when needed, while maintaining stock control, purchasing records and safe storage standards.Key ResponsibilitiesStores and stock control Receive, check and record engineering parts, tools and consumables against purchase orders and delivery notes.Label and store items in designated locations so they can be found and issued promptly.Record stock issues, returns and transfers accurately in the relevant system.Carry out regular stock counts, investigate discrepancies and correct records with appropriate approval.Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels, identifying critical spares and recommending replenishment before shortages affect operations.Identify obsolete, damaged or slow-moving stock and recommend appropriate action.Maintain an orderly stores area, with clear access routes and appropriate segregation of materials. Purchasing and supplier coordination Raise purchase requisitions and obtain quotations in line with company approval processes.Follow up outstanding orders and communicate delivery dates or delays to engineers and managers.Work with suppliers to resolve incorrect, damaged or missing deliveries and arrange returns where required.Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, ..... full job details .....
