Are you an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? We''re recruiting for an Assistant or Project Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established main contractor delivering a flagship £42M new-build educational project in Suffolk.
The Role:
As the No.2 Commercial lead on site, you will play a key role in the procurement and management of subcontract packages, while supporting all commercial activities including valuations, variations, and final accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with drive and ambition, with a clear path to progress into a No.1 Quantity Surveyor role on future projects.
Project Details:

• Sector: New build - Education (school)
• Project Value: £42M
• Duration: 3+ years
• Location: Suffolk (site-based 2-3 days/week) & Derbyshire office (2-3 days/week)

What We''re Looking For:

• Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor
• 1-2 years minimum experience in main contractor construction
• Background in education construction preferred
• Strong procurement skills and commercial acumen
• Willingness to travel - flexibility required due to site/office split
• Experience with Tier 1 or strong Tier 2 main contractors
