Head of School - The Role:

As Head of School, you will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction across the whole school. You will work alongside the Director of Education, trustees and all stakeholders to develop outstanding provision that transforms educational outcomes and future life opportunities for all pupils. This role requires you to lead by example with integrity, creativity and resilience, fostering positive relationships across the school community while ensuring the school environment remains inclusive and welcoming for every student and family.

Head of School - Key Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership, development and management across the whole school curriculum

- Ensure the school is well managed and organised through effective partnership with all stakeholders

- Deliver effective leadership for pupil safeguarding and maintain robust systems to keep all pupils safe

- Act as the whole school designated safeguarding lead in line with current Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance

- Manage pupil and student transition to new settings, both within and beyond school

- Develop a shared vision and strategic plan with the Director of Education, trustees and the wider community

- Ensure the school environment offers inclusive opportunities using suitable technologies and alternative means

- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, trustees and the local community

- Support new pupils and families to feel welcomed and included

Head of School - You:

- Hold Qualified Teacher status

- Have experience managing pupil and student transition to new settings

- Demonstrate vision, leadership and direction with integrity, creativity and resilience

- Show commitment to safeguarding and child protection best practice
