An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic within a Used Car Dealership located in Wadhurst.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties:

- Carrying out vehicle servicing on purchased cars, PDI Checks and repairs to the highest standards
- Diagnosing issues and performing repairs across a wide range of vehicle makes and models
- Communicating test results and recommended work to the Service Advisors
- Ensuring all quality inspection controls are followed
- Maintaining up-to-date product and technical knowledge
- Delivering excellent customer service to foster loyalty and generate referrals

Requirements:

- Ideally a NVQ Level 3 or level 2 qualification
- Time Served Experienced considered
- Ability to complete work efficiently and to a high standard
- MOT Testing Licence highly preferred
- EV experience - Training provided
- Experience working with a variety of vehicle brands, including electric and hybrid models preferred
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

The salary of this role is up to £40,000 basic.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00.
