About The Role We''re looking for an Events Fundraising Officer to join the Royal British Legion on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working across an exciting portfolio of fundraising events in the UK and overseas. From major challenge events to established fundraising activities, you''ll be involved in bringing events together from the initial planning and promotion through to delivery on the day. It''s a varied, hands-on role where you''ll manage your own events, work alongside experienced colleagues and have the opportunity to get involved in everything from participant recruitment and marketing campaigns to event logistics, budgets and developing new opportunities. A successful fundraising event is about much more than what happens on the day, and you''ll play an important part in getting every stage right. You''ll work with event organisers, suppliers, colleagues and volunteers to deliver well-run events that attract participants, achieve fundraising targets and keep supporters coming back.
