This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for loading, unloading, order preparation and yard operations, ensuring all goods are handled safely, accurately and on time.You will play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly, working closely with the yard team, warehouse staff and transport team.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently in a busy yard environmentPreparing, setting and loading orders ready for collection or dispatchChecking and verifying loads for accuracy and qualityLoading and unloading vehicles in line with safe working practicesAssisting customers with loading when requiredPacking and preparing carrier collectionsMaintaining stock accuracy and organisation within the yard/store areaKeeping work areas clean, tidy and safe at all timesSupporting other yard and warehouse activities when requiredWhat We''re Looking ForValid FLT licence (Counterbalance preferred)Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse or logistics environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood problem-solving skills and a proactive attitudeFlexible approach to workload
