Single Homeless Project has an opportunity for Young Person''s Psychotherapist to join and work in our team based in Greenwich and Lewisham. You will join us on a part-time, 12 month fixed term basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary starting at at £50,718.46 and rising incrementally to £53,786.23 per annum (pro rata). About the role: At Single Homeless Project, we believe every young person deserves the chance to build a life beyond crisis. As our Young Person s Psychotherapist, you ll play a vital part in making that happen. Working within our in house Psychotherapy team, you ll provide one-to-one psychotherapy and co-produced psychoeducation groups for young people aged . Your work will focus on prevention, helping young people make sense of their experiences and build the tools to manage life s challenges before they reach breaking point. You ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team offering a psychologically informed service - collaborating closely with support staff, managers and other professionals to create safe, empowering spaces where young people can explore their emotions, relationships and aspirations. From helping a young person understand their experiences of trauma, racism, poverty, family violence and parental substance to facilitating group discussions on understanding their emotions, assertiveness and boundaries in relationships.
