As a Social Work Team Manager, you''ll lead our Adults out-of-hours service, supporting staff with working across our three boroughs as they respond to emergency adult referrals for a range of situations for local residents and stakeholders, and providing appropriate interventions in supporting people to manage their health and safety, and promote their wellbeing. Working Style: You''ll be based in the Borough for a minimum of 2 per days a week, playing a key role in serving the local community. Whether you''re working on the frontline or behind the scenes, you''ll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to residents'' lives. What you''ll be doing: In this role, you''ll lead the Tri-Borough Emergency Duty Service - our out-of-hours social care provision for adults. Every shift brings something new, and you''ll be right at the centre of it all: supporting the team, managing risks, and making sure decisions are rooted in care, competence and compliance with the law. You''ll manage a skilled team of AMHPs/Social Workers and Triage officers who handle complex, urgent cases. That includes leading regular handovers, overseeing safeguarding referrals, managing rotas and stepping in on the central AMHP rota once a month.
